Hi there! Welcome to Mountain State Gamers!

We hope you like our web site. It took us longer than we expected, but we wanted to get everything just right. To the right of the page, you'll see a list of people playing games right now! These people belong to our Steam group and/or have us added as a friend on XBOX Live. The people at the very top have linked their Steam and XBOX Live gamertags to their MSG user names.

At the top of this page, you'll see a link called "Server Stats." This links to our gaming server stats page. We are currently running an 8-player Left 4 Dead server, but we plan on rotating games. Tomorrow night (August 1st) at 9:30 pm, we'll be having a little L4D get-together to celebrate the launch of our web site. If you belong to our Steam group, you'll have preference over non-members in joining the game.

However, we are not done adding features to it. We plan to have a tournament system working by the end of August. Furthermore, it is our goal to make this system available to anyone that needs to host a tournament at any time. We'll also be using this for our tournaments as well. Speaking of which, we're going to have an online Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament around the middle of August, so check back for updates.

That's it for now. If you registered on the forums before today, you'll have to create a new user name and password. If you experience any problems or visual errors, please post them on our forums. We're still tweaking the site to make sure it looks great in the most popular browsers (IE6 not included). The "Forum Bribery" giveaway drawing will take place on August 30th. We'll post the video of the drawing as soon as it happens, or we might do it live on USTREAM.
