Mountain State Gamers

Hello, fellow Mountain State Gamers!  Amazon's Deal of the Day for today is exceptionally sweet!  Amazon is selling the special edition of Rock Band 2 for Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 for $89.98. The special edition comes with the wireless drums, wireless guitar, and microphone.  This is an incredibly sweet deal if you don't already own the game, and, after this deal, you won't have an excuse for not owning it.

Ace Gaming Center will be hosting a charity gaming tournament on August 15th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. They are raising money for the Jackson County Anti-Drug Coalition in memory of Christopher Rhodes, who died of a drug overdose at the age of 19.

If you've never been there before, it's one of the very few gaming centers in West Virginia. It's located in Ravenswood, and it's a really slick place. They have around 10 - 12 computers, some arcade machines, and a wall-mounted TV. Ivan Scarberry, one of the co-owners, assured me, "yes, these computers DO run Crysis."
